Pygame

Pygame is a set of Python modules designed for writing video games. It was first released in 2000, and pygame 2 was released in 2020.

It is known for being incredibly simple to program for.

This system scrapes metadata for the “pygame” group and loads the pygame set from the currently selected theme, if available.

  • Emulator: pygame
  • Folder: /userdata/roms/pygame
  • Accepted ROM formats: .pygame

No Pygame emulator in Batocera needs a BIOS file to run.

Place your Pygame ROMs in /userdata/roms/pygame.

Batocera comes with a game quiz pygame, which reads data from your game library's XML to quiz you on various aspects of it. How well do you know your own collection?
